Easy set up to monetise your blogger website - how to set up/ upload ads.txt file in blogger

Recently, I was setting up AdSense for my blog.

If you see this in your AdSense

Earnings at risk - You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue.

Create an ads.txt file for 1 site

To prevent severe impact on revenue, download an ads.txt file then upload the file to the root level domain of each site:

- <your site>.blogspot.com

It may take a few days for changes to update. If you’re using another ad network, remember to add the network to the ads.txt file. See the ads.txt guide for more details.

Press 'Learn more' and you will get this information about how to create ads.txt file.

Create an ads.txt file for your site

AdSense provides a personalized ads.txt file that you can download from your account. The personalized ads.txt file includes your publisher ID. Your publisher ID must be included and formatted correctly for your ads.txt file to be verified.

1. Sign in to your AdSense account.

2. If there's an alert on your homepage, click Fix now. Otherwise, click Sites.

3. Click the Down arrow to open the "Create an ads.txt file for..." message.

4. Click Download. Your ads.txt file is automatically downloaded.

5. (Optional) If you’re using another ad network, remember to add that network to your ads.txt file. Contact your ad network for their ads.txt information.

6. Upload your ads.txt file to the root directory of your site. The root directory of a site is the directory or folder following the top level domain (example.com/ads.txt).

To verify that you published your file correctly, check that you successfully see your file's content when you access the ads.txt URL (https://example.com/ads.txt) in your web browser. If you can see the file in your web browser, it's likely that AdSense will successfully find it.

Press Download for the ads.txt file, and you're all good to start setting up !!!

Here's how to set up / upload ads.txt file for blogger (with steps and screenshot pictures)

1. Sign in to Blogger.

2. In the top left, choose the blog you want to set up.

3. From the menu on the left, click Settings.

4. Under "Monetization," turn on Enable custom ads. txt.

5. Click Custom ads. txt.

6. Copy the settings the downloaded ads.txt file and paste them in the text box.

7. Click Save.

And you're all good !! To check if you have successfully uploaded the ads.txt file, visit https://<yourwebsite.com>/ads.txt.

I decided to record down my braces progress in blogger

and hopefully my blogpost is helpful to YOU

From the front view you might think that I don't need braces

but look at my side view

So my main concern is my upper front teeth

I took this X-Ray on the first consultation

On the second appointment,

they took some picture for their record purpose

The RM3899 includes first scaling too~~

TBH, this was my first scaling experience XD

I've never done that before because scaling is SO EX !

I am cheapskate Chinese

who take a really good care of my own teeth

to avoid spending money.

My friend, Alyssa went with me

she was so excited because I've been talking about braces for YEARS

Here's the awkward moment of me and dentist moulding my teeth

I couldn't talk and he had to hold the mould

HAHAHA

Somehow I know why they make me wear sunglasses

To avoid EYE CONTACT !!!!

HAHAHA

After moulding, the dentist put some blue gel

Glue the brackets, shine blue lights and install wire

When the doctor asked me to choose a colour

I said: Can I have them all?

And YAYYY !!

Here's a shoutout of THE BEST dentist in the world

who entertains my stupid request

It doesn't really hurt that much

I can feel something but hey I still can have pasta and fries

right after the braces fixing

By the way, I fix the upper teeth first because dr says

It is better to do separately in the beginning

Give yourself some time to get used to the braces

' Off day ' Cafe

I bought these 3 things from the clinic

- The blue colour case is a wax thingy

which can help you to create barrier between the wire and your mouth.

I never used this because the dentist did a good job !!

- A soft toothbrush for your sensitive gum

- Mouthwash

My YOLO trip: England

It was the first time I board on plane, super excited and kinda nervous, my family were there too, we had a trip in KL

As I entered the boarding gate, I told myself, everything after this gate is gonna be first try.

I lingered around shops, waited at the boarding gate, and board on airplane. Everything was so new to me, look outside from the window in the plane, had my first meal, and I will never forget how much I had sweated on my hands when the flight took off, plane was shaky and noisy.

Plane shaked sometimes and I be like it is crashing down or what? Funny, but i was really scared hehe

I got transfer in hochimin city, it took me 13+3 hours to reach London, it was 7 in the morning, the queue at the customs checkpoint was so crowded, it was cold outside but super hot inside, everyone was wearing coat, so sweaty, I wonder why everyone didn't take off the coat so I didn't too.

I took bus from heathrow to Victoria, before this I met a China girl, she talked to me because she thought I am from china too. We went to terminal2 for the bus to Victoria, but her bus was 10:30am and mine was 9:30am, we talked while we were walking but suddenly she disappeared, I felt super creepy and hopped on bus immediately. I got no wifi or 3G so me and Alyssa used fate to connect with each other. Long distance traveling made me so tired, I took a nap on the bus. Alyssa waited me at Victoria station, I saw her immediately, snapchatting me.

Buckingham Palace, summoning their queen but too bad she wasn't around.

There were lots of people taking photos, sky was blue.

The sky was really stunning, unlike Malaysia's cloudy sky

We put our bags at the Mstay hotel.

Alyssa booked studio cause we wanted to update each other. But seriously we walked too much from 10am to late night and fell asleep right away.
We had long chat in the second dorm we stayed, which was 14 mixed dorm, yeap we whispered in the room -.-

Lesson number 3,
Don't book studio for the first night.

My first meal in UK was McDonald, it was suck, the burger was too dry and no sauce given. The best thing was still fries, I love fries, fries would never be awful. Heh

Mark and Spencer in london is different with what we have in Malaysia or Singapore

look at this supermarket size <3 in Malaysia it is just a small grocery store.

Shopping time !
We planned to join the Boxing Day but in the end all of us didn't buy any shit. For real, don't ever join Boxing Day before you do research. It was super duper crowded and not everything is cheap, those expensive stuffs will remain expensive. Great Sale Singapore is way better.

Winter Wonderland

And the sun went down, Christmas lights were turned on <3 it was amazing, I always like to stare at sparkling shiny lights or ocean or diamond hahahahahaha.

At night, we went to the Christmas market <3 oh my gosh the decoration was so fabulous I love it really really much. There was one part that I saw was the same as me and Ian went in Singapore, that artist kinda doing world tour? I guess hahaha

We had sausage with bread at 5 pounds for each, it was quite big serving so 3 of us shared them together. I love it sooooo muchhhhhh the sausage was soooooo juicy <3 yellow mustard is the best !

Here's the churrosssssssss with chocolate <3 oh my god I missed them...

Alyssa found out that the chocolate fudge will harden so it actually can be peeled off from the paper, so we ate them until the paper became so clean

Soon we are hungry again as we walked, there's a wine called MULLED WINE which served hot, its winter limited

arg didn't focus. Duck meat wrap (?)

Second day,
It was 1 degree in the morning, I was awake from the coldness and realized that the window was opened all night, heater was far away from me......

the Hotel was soooo comfortable that we actually slacked until 12pm.
Breakfast on bed, watching movies

Alyssa showed me the 1 pound Kettles, and I showed to Ian, he was so surprised! Hehe cause it's his favourite xD

with full of excitement I kept taking pictures on the street, but I didn't go into the musuem.
Firstly, I didn't wanna let my Alyssa and her boyfriend wait for me out there, Secondly, there was a long long queue!!

I know it will be another chance to come here so I am willing to wait! heh

we had big big sausage for dinner <3

At night, we walked back to the hostel, made cups of tea, chill and relax.
There's a foosball game in the common area, it's super fun that actually could laugh our abs out!

after that there's a guy joined us, made this game even more fun!

We slept in the 3 layer bunk bed, it's a 33 beds mixed dorm, so the heater wasn't working because the room is too big

Day 3

Croissants breakfast

Croissants and cheese from sainsbury's, croissants in europe is cheap and delicious, even from the supermarket <3

As we were on our way to big ben, I saw some mural spray art on street, and then we passed by a tunner entrance which was down below us, I asked 要下去吗？好吧下去啦！！！

then BOOM! it was AMAZINGGGGGG

that's why I like to walk rather than taking public transportation.
